The Gusteau Fine Dining restaurant is in the heart of the Tokaj wine region, in Mád. Its mission is to support Tokaj wines in gastronomy. With a unique style Gusteau would like to help the Tokaji to glow in its once shiny light.

Gusteau focuses on wine-food pairings. Instead of offering wines to dishes, we cook dishes to match the wines. This way the wines served for the dishes can show their best qualities.

Thus was born the restaurant’s style which is nothing more than a creative, refined wine cuisine, based on local ingredients. We would like to support the usage of local foods in the region, helping local farmers.

Organizing wine dinners is one of our main specialties. During the cozy events our guests not only get unforgettable gastronomic experiences but qualified winemakers show them the way into the mysteries of wine-making.

The wineries presented in our wine dinners are always selected according to a proprer theme to which the restaurant’s chef, Gábor Horváth creates the best dishes.
